“I’ve been regularly seeing Megan 2 times per week for about year, prior to this I was a member at a stretch franchise facility. I am an active middle aged woman and I am persistently doing things that help me maintain my active lifestyle. Megan uses all her knowledge and research, and is able to apply her gifts and talents to her work with me. I have achieved more strength and flexibility in the last year, and I feel more grounded and energetic. Because Megan applies all her talents and education into our sessions, it’s helped me learn more about my body and put better function into everything I do!”

What is Thai Yoga Stretching?
Thai yoga is an ancient, assisted movement practice that is based in mindful and conscious touch. It creates a level of release and nervous system regulation that traditional massage cannot reach. This healing art originated in Thailand over 2,500 years ago and is still worldwide!
**This is not a conventional massage therapy service!**
Practitioners use their hands, elbows, knees, and feet to gently stretch and manipulate the recipient's body into yoga-like poses and stretches. By applying pressure during stretching to specific muscles and points along the limbs and body, muscular tension melts away and balance occurs in the body's energy which promotes healing. Both the practitioner and recipient focus on mindful breathing throughout the session. This helps to enhance relaxation, deepen stretches, regulate the nervous system, and facilitate the flow of energy. Unlike some forms of massage, Thai Yoga stretching is performed fully clothed (comfortable attire). This allows for ease of movement during the stretches and ensures the recipient's comfort.
Benefits of Thai Yoga include the reduction of muscular tension, stiffness, and pain, an increase in flexibility and mobility, increased circulation, aids in lymphatic drainage and detox, improves sleep, lowers blood pressure and heart rate, decreases inflammation, relieves stress and anxiety, and creates a deeper mind-body connection. At it’s roots, this is a nervous system regulating practice. Clients leave feeling lighter, more open, and deeply restored — physically, emotionally, and energetically. It’s not just stress relief; it’s an embodied reset.
I blend the traditional art of Thai Yoga with my background in somatic-based practices. Somatic experiencing emphasizes the connection between body and mind, bringing awareness to physical sensations, breath, and patterns of tension. Through guided techniques, I help clients develop greater awareness of their bodies, allowing emotions stored within the nervous system to surface and release. When left unaddressed, these stored emotions often manifest as tight muscles, restricted movement, or chronic pain. This somatic approach encourages the release of tension, trauma, and stress held within the body, creating space for deeper relaxation and integration.

Stretching and Energy Healing Combined
Blending Thai Yoga stretching, somatic experiencing, and energy healing, sessions invite present-moment awareness through dialogue, movement, and touch. By listening to the body’s messages, clients are supported in releasing tension and moving with greater ease—physically, emotionally, and energetically. This practice is fully clothed, mat-based, and performed on the floor, with table work available upon request. Energy healing is blended throughout, drawing from Shamanic traditions, Reiki, and Chinese medicine to restore balance and support the natural flow of life force energy.
*Energy healing can be woven in to any session
